Not many find a love like that. Thanks for telling about Earl and Sandra!
Jo Ann-
There was a lovely comfort and ease between them that didn’t seem to exist I’n the majority of adults I was around. That always made me smile. Thank you so much for reading Farm Stories and adding your voice.
Thanks for sharing this precious memory, Eddie!

Thank you once again Eddie for taking us on a journey, this time down a country road. You’re remembrance conjures up many wonderful memories of My Aunty Maragret & Uncle Cecil. They too had a beautiful love story. They came together late in life but they lived every day to the fullest. They lived on a farm about 2 hours from our house and many a summer we would drive along that long and dusty road to the farm house. There we were greeted with much love and fanfare. Soon after it was back to work as farm life doesn’t stop. We’d happily join in and help out where ever we could. Uncle Cecil called my Aunty, “Mom”. I remember many a night after he’d say goodnight to all of us he turn to her and give a good hug and say “Good night, Mom it’s been another beautiful day with you.” Needless to say I loved our time spent on the farm. Just to capture the love story of Uncle Cecil & Aunty Margaret 🙂

Bruce-
You know nothing makes me feel like my stories have purpose than hearing something I share helps connect someone to their own experience. Thank you so much for sharing yours. People, in my personal experience, were rigid and afraid to just breath. Sandra and Earl had this beautiful ease that made them joyful being around.
Thank you always for your support and voice!!!
