I love this beautiful story about your Mother and how you saw her and how she made you feel. I also love that you mentioned yelling and arguing, but everything being all right…Normal growing up and becoming independent stuff right? Momma’s are probably the most important person and support in most of our lives, especially in our generation, when much of the parenting was left to the Mother. I lost by Momma this past year and it has been the most difficult time in my life to try to get through…and I am still trying. This story touched my heart, as do all of your stories friend, but this one…perhaps a little bit more 🙂
Sherri- First I’m so sorry for your loss. Can’t imagine how difficult that pain is to deal with. Prayers and love to you as you push through the pain.
There is no greater compliment than having my memories and Farm Stories reach into your heart and stir your own personal memories.
Thank you for your lovely voice and support…
