A perfect boy would do exactly as asked.

A perfect boy would be loved by everyone around him because he was so perfect. But the journey to being loved had nothing to do with being that perfect boy.

I am Eddie Casson. I’m writing a memoir about growing up in the Midwest and making my journey from childhood to manhood. It’s about heartbreak, discovery and fate. It’s about hope, struggle and acceptance. It’s about finding myself when the only roadmap I had inherited was not the path I was meant to follow. My memoir explores and ultimately celebrates that journey.
