Eddie…you have me in awe once more. Well you always do. This story; how you’ve weaved the names behind the scenes to the artists is one I completely relate too. I did the same with my LP’s and photographs in GQ magazine, etc. I was in heaven when I started to pinpoint names of photographers, editors, make up artists, engineers,, backup vocalists, (my favorite) and so many more. I loved knowing who was playing behind the artist and always felt the musicians never received proper credit for their contributions, This lovely tribute to those who create behind the scenes and especially to Maddy is brilliant, just brilliant. I thank you from the bottom of my heart in presenting this piece.

Even more poignant that you posted this today as 3 years ago Nathan and I were in Central Park for the first time. What a stunning day that was for us. Beyond magical for me.

xoxo

I hadn’t been on FB nearly as much for the past several months and hadn’t seen your past post that you had blogged on “Farm Stories”…..I kept looking for them how did I miss them?! I thought you were finished blogging because in the last blog I read, you thanked everyone for reading and being supportive…not the exact wording, but the way you worded it made me think you were finished…I was sad. So had to go back and read the past four. Loved each of them as always! You have been so blessed, since letting your true self be seen by the world…..know it was so very difficult and many hurdles to overcome….but I am positive it worked out better than in your wildest of dreams. Eddie I am so very proud and happy for one of the best friends I have ever had, and know always will…. YOU. Love this piece on Cher! Your writing draws me, and I’m sure all, into your stories as if we were there, being there ourselves, seeing it though your minds eyes. You have a talent that very few have and I’m so glad you decided to share that talent, your memories, your life experiences, your joys…even your pain with us. You bare your very soul for all to see….that is something very few are brave enough to do. I’m in awe of the people you have met and know…people here in “The farm land” would never have a chance to be so privileged, thank you for at least give us a glance into that exciting life that you worked so hard with blood , sweat, tears and fears to achieve. I’m so blessed to have “grown up” with you and STILL after nearly 50 years have you as a best friend. I’m anxiously “Tossing MUCH Glitter” waiting for Mother’s Day….or around that time. LOL! Good luck my friend. May even more Glitter fall on you soon!! I love you!! XOXO <3 <3

Kathy-

Thanks honey for your continued support and voice.
Book is finished being edited and now is being designed. Quite a process. Not going to make Mother’s Day deadline but will make fall for sure!
I wanted to write a piece about childhood, NYC in the 80’s and Maddy Millers beautiful photo of Cher!!!
Love & Glitter!!! xoxo
