BEAUTIFULLY written!! I felt like I was there though your words and watched the video you posted of the wedding many times and it was glamorous. I am so happy for both of you and Alex that your dreams, that you thought never would happen did. So very glad you are where you want to be in your life. I wish to you had had that crystal ball so you wouldn’t have to have went though all you did and the fear that you had that things wouldn’t turn out the way you so wished for because they did and should have. Miracles have happened in your life and I couldn’t be happier for you. Well done Eddie! XOXOXO

One of the reasons I share your stories is that I knew that little boy in Indiana; but, regrettably, knew nothing of the struggles to be “perfect”. You deserve having your voice heard and you speak with such eloquence. Eddie, you reveal the human face of same-sex marriage despite all the political and religious clamoring over the issue. We all need to pause and listen to the voices that enlighten rather than those that suppress and destroy. Keep writing, my friend.

Marty- Your continued reading and support for Farm Stories truly means so much to me. There are so many out there with much better voices- They sometimes get angry and others are much more strategic in working towards achieving equality for whichever minority they feel passionate and connected with. I appreciate all of them and know they made a difference towards my being able to share a life and marriage with the person I love. I’m so happy to have the opportunity to simply tell my story. Honestly and lovingly…

I know now that there will always be someone who doesn’t love or approve who we are. But certainly there is room enough for all of us and our contributions.

Thank you always for being you…

You’ve written yours and Jeff’s happily-ever-after tale and put your friends and loved ones in tears. Tears of happiness and joy, both for this beautiful chapter of your book, and your new journey. Eddie,

You tell your & Jeff’s story so beautifully. There is NOTHING to compare to a great romance, and it certainly seems that the 2 of you have one. I am so very glad that you are happy. I always thought that you belonged somewhere better than OC or Pike County. I hope NYC appreciates you!

Much love,
Cindy Kay
